Cajun Hunting Retriever Club

Welcome to Cajun Hunting Retriever Club (CHRC). CHRC is a non-profit organization where our members enjoy dog training and competitive events. CHRC is affiliated with two organizations: United Kennel Club (UKC) and Hunting Retriever Club (HRC). CHRC was first organized in 1983 by hunters dedicated to meet, train, and compete in hunt tests.

Regular Meetings & Training Days

Regular club meetings are held every second Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm. Meetings are usually held at the Rice Palace meeting room located at 2015 Rice Capital Pkwy, Crowley, LA 70526.

On occasion, meetings are changed to meet the needs of our members. See the events tab for updates. Club training days are typically the Saturday after the regular monthly meeting. Training locations vary; however, they are usually located in Morse, LA at Satin Belle Retrievers’ kennels (Ed & Jackie Thibodeaux, owners).
